LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a professional services firm in Manhattan to identify a Staff Accountant for a temp-to-perm opportunity. We are seeking a candidate with strong general accounting and month-end close experience, along with advanced Excel and reporting skills. Apply today to be considered immediately!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Prepare and post journal entries

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  • Complete bank reconciliations across multiple accounts

  • Support financial reporting and assist with variance analysis

  • Prepare audit schedules and support external audit processes

  • Provide support for AP/AR functions as needed

  • Handle ad hoc accounting projects and related analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 3+ years of general accounting experience

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus

Additional Details:

  • 40-hour work week with flexible schedule (e.g., 9:00-6:00, 8:30-5:30, etc.)

  • Schedule: 5 days in office

$32-40/hr

Pay Details: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
