The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and organized. This role supports the companys financial health by keeping records up to date and assisting with basic reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments)
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
    • Prepare invoices and track payments
  • Assist with payroll processing (if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Generate basic financial reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
