Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Jacksonville Pay: $20-$25/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday - Friday The Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts payable records, processing invoices, and communicating with vendors and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or concerns. Key Responsibilities Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve A/P discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries and follow up on open issues Maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and databases Assist with month-end closing and accrual-based accounting processes Prepare account analysis as needed Maintain organized and accurate files in compliance with company policies Support related functions such as accounts receivable and customer service Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred College coursework in Accounting or related field preferred Strong data entry skills with high accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables required; VLOOKUP and macros a plus) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Office Suite Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) is a plus Work Environment Office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level Team-oriented environment with collaboration across departments Company DescriptionWe are a staffing company dedicated to connecting you with long-term career opportunities.Company DescriptionWe are a staffing company dedicated to connecting you with long-term career opportunities.
