Summary:

This position will support various Operational accounting positions in the Poultry segments to gain experience in Poultry Plants Accounting.

Responsibilities :

• Provide daily support for both the Forest and Carthage Plant Accounting teams.

• Processing of Purchase to Pay P2P transactions and or payment processing.

• Assist with monthly close process.

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Perform tasks related to one or more of the following areas: management and retention of documents.

• Assist with Ad hoc management reports projects as they arise.

• The position will have the potential to interact with Tyson Team Members across the organization and

• This position will support Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Yield.

• This position will be back-up to the plant accountant.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education and Experience : Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or Business degree with 2 years of Accounting Experience.

• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required .

• Special Skills: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team. Strong judgment and problem-solving skills . Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with others effectively.

• Supervisory: None

• Travel: 1 plus trips per year.
