Senior Accountant Client in the nonprofit sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with audit preparation, reconciliations, and financial cleanup support while helping the finance team get current and positioned ahead. Salary is $60-$83k, DOE ABOUT OUR CLIENT Mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on community impact and operational stability Collaborative, hands-on environment with a small and engaged finance team Opportunity to support leadership during a critical financial catch-up and cleanup period Organization values practical problem-solving, accountability, and teamwork Strong opportunity to make an immediate impact through audit support and reconciliation work RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: The Senior Accountant will prepare audit schedules and provide audit support for year-end preparation The Senior Accountant will complete reconciliations, including expense-related accounts such as loan and other payments Assist with budget file preparation, data manipulation, and reporting support related to financial and grant activity The Senior Accountant will pull and organize financial data while assisting with day-to-day accounting support as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Must have experience supporting audits and preparing related schedules Strong understanding of reconciliations, reporting, and GAAP accounting required Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and data manipulation required Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but not required Salary is $60-$83k, DOE EB-...
