Payroll Clerk Utilities $21.00 per hour Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm North Canton, Ohio (onsite) Temp to Hire Why You'll Love This Job: After being hired on, the following benefits are offered: Hybrid work schedule (3 days home, 2 days onsite) Health insurance PTO Flexible start times (Latest to come in is 9:00a) Recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity in 2025 by Newsweek What You'll Do: Act as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing accurate, confidential support Respond to questions via phone, email, and ticketing systems regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and direct deposit Investigate and resolve basic payroll discrepancies; escalate complex issues as needed Review and update employee payroll information to ensure accuracy and compliance Track, document, and manage cases through resolution using payroll and helpdesk systems Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to resolve issues and provide timely followups Maintain detailed records, identify recurring issues, and assist with audit documentation Work efficiently in a fastpaced, highvolume environment, especially during payroll cycles What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred 1-3 years of experience in payroll or payroll support is required Basic knowledge of payroll processes and terminology; experience with payroll or HR systems a plus Strong customer service, communication, problemsolving, and attention to detail skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy Effective time management and organizational abilities in a fastpaced, highvolume environment Increased workload during peak payroll cycles Apply Today!
