Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $62.00 to $72.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee month end close activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting.

Manage financial reporting processes and provide insights that support leadership decision making.

Review and perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Support treasury related efforts including monitoring cash activity and assisting with cash management processes.

Lead daily accounting operations and guide the accounting team to maintain stability during leadership transition.

Requirements:

Bring prior experience serving as a controller or senior accounting leader in a hands on environment.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of full cycle accounting and financial reporting processes.

Possess experience managing accounting functions within mid sized organizations.

Use enterprise systems confidently with experience in modern accounting platforms preferred.

Work independently and adapt quickly while maintaining strong organization and accountability.

Qualifications:

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support evolving business needs.

Maintain operational continuity by supporting team workflows and ensuring consistent output.

Apply strong leadership skills to manage teams and foster collaboration across functions.

Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to operate effectively during periods of change.

Bring industry experience professional certification or interim leadership exposure considered beneficial.
