AP Supervisor

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a team in Denver, CO within the Denver Tech Center area. Qualified candidates with 5-7+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $90,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Lead the accounts payable team to ensure efficient operations and compliance with internal guidelines. Manage the processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment runs. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the integrity of AP workflows. Perform reconciliations of vendor accounts and accounts payable transactions. Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other departments to enhance AP procedures. Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Bring at least 5-7+ years of experience in accounts payable, including two years in a supervisory role. Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably NetSuite. Exhibit advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Qualifications: Understand GAAP principles and best practices in accounts payable management. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Support audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Mentor and train team members while conducting performance evaluations and identifying growth opportunities.
