LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a growing and highly diversified organization in the Triad area to identify an Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role offering strong visibility and the opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership while helping to strengthen and scale accounting operations.
The Accounting Manager will take ownership of the monthly close process, technical accounting, and financial reporting across multiple entities. This individual will serve as a key partner to the CFO as there is also a clear path to Controller. A HYBRID work schedule is available!
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes across several entities
Review and prepare reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules
Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and supported by detailed documentation
Serve as the primary resource for technical accounting matters and policy application
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization policies, additions, disposals, and depreciation
Standardize accounting procedures, reconciliations, and documentation practices
Partner with leadership to enhance reporting accuracy and reduce reliance on post-close corrections
Assist with audit preparation, tax support schedules, and coordination with external advisors
Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records across all entities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA a plus
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
Prior experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role
Strong understanding of the full close process, including reconciliations and financial reporting
Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced setting with evolving priorities
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
