LHH is partnering with a global steel manufacturer on a search for a Plant Controller for their Vansant, VA location. This is a multi-billion-dollar company that has been recognized as the top in their industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire P&L for this particular plant. There is a team of two that you will manage and mentor, and you will have the support from corporate. They are looking for someone who comes from a public company that can take on a role of this size. This is a direct hire role, that works hybrid (Monday and Friday from home) with a salary between $115K - $140K + bonus. Here are some more details about this job:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the month end close process, cost accounting, revenue, reconciliations, AR, order to cash, AP and audits
Create, manage and maintain budgets, forecasting, balance sheets
Responsible for SOX compliance and internal controls
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar education
6+ years of progressive experience in accounting/financial management
SOX experience and ability to maintain internal controls
