ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to join our organization. Reporting to the Director, Assistant Controller, you will provide oversight of operational accounting, accounts payable, and payroll as well as supporting the monthly & quarterly close tasks and controls. This role will provide supervisory leadership including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding new staff, and performance management. You will work closely with our SEC Reporting & Technical Reporting, SOX Transformation, and FP&A teams, along with business partners across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manage the monthly financial close process for your areas, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, and financial report preparation.
Manage accounting operations including: AP, AP, consolidations, fixed assets, lease accounting, GL, payroll, and equity.
Responsible for the accounting reconciliation process which includes maintaining the accuracy and validity of accounting reconciliations and ensuring reconciliations are prepared and reviewed in a timely manner.
Support the company's SOX compliance effectiveness and maintaining detailed control documentation.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the preparation of internal and external reporting requirements, assigned analysis, and projects.
Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Prepare estimates and judgements used in establishing period ending financial statement adjustments.
Monthly preparation of the worldwide consolidation. Ensure accurate and on time delivery of U.S. and international reporting packages and related support to the SEC Reporting team and FP&A.
