Accounting Consultant - Hybrid / Watertown, MA

Our client, a biotech organization, is seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to provide short-term support across core accounting and financial operations. This role focuses on stabilizing close processes, reviewing financial activity, and strengthening controls in a complex environment with inventory-related accounting.

Responsibilities

Support month-end close activities and provide senior-level accounting oversight
Review balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy and consistency
Assist with account reconciliations and identification of cleanup needs
Support inventory-related accounting processes and reporting
Partner with finance and operations teams to resolve accounting questions
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations required
CPA preferred
