Develop technical depth in pass-through taxation, real estate-related tax matters, and multi-entity client structures. Collaborate with internal teams remotely through Teams, Zoom, and firm-provided communication tools. Approximately 5 or more years of public accounting experience. Hands-on tax preparation experience - candidate must be comfortable preparing returns personally, not solely reviewing. Demonstrated experience preparing both individual and business tax returns. Experience with pass-through entities and multi-entity client structures preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Technologically proficient, with the ability to adapt to evolving software platforms. Self-directed professional capable of working effectively in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications: 5 or more years of progressive public accounting experience. Candidates based in the Carolinas, particularly in or near Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, or Greenville (SC). Industry exposure relevant to the firm's client base, including real estate, restaurant and hospitality groups, and medical practices. Experience with ProSystem fx or comparable major tax software platforms. Long-term interest in partnership and firm leadership. Career Path: This role is designed as a long-term succession hire. There is a defined path toward engagement management and eventual partnership for the right candidate. Business development is not an immediate expectation but is anticipated to grow as the candidate progresses toward partner-level responsibility. Work Environment & Culture: Fully remote work arrangement with significant daily schedule flexibility. Tenured staff highly value the firm's flexibility and work-life balance.
