Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office/Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team! This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions, supporting administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining financial records and documents

Perform data entry tasks to update financial information

Process invoices, statements, and receipts

Scan paper documents and download electronic documents

Organize and maintain electronic filing systems (training will be provided)

Identifies and helps to correct mistakes in data or documents

Communicates with vendors and clients to gather information and resolve issues

Process documents in compliance with company processes and standards

Other duties, as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong number sense and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Honest and ethical conduct, committed to maintaining confidentiality with respect to the company's financial data

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Careful to give attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills

Follows established guidelines, checklists, and procedures without skipping steps

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
