The Senior SAP Business Analyst will join our Financial Systems Data Innovation team to lead functional design and system optimization strategy. This role plays a key part in shaping our digital transformation and optimizing end-to-end finance operations and provides an opportunity to impact a large-scale digital transformation project within a collaborative and innovative environment. Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Digital Financial Systems, this position will be a key functional leader responsible for shaping, optimizing, and sustaining global capabilities in SAP ECC/S/4HANA. This role partners with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT to drive business process standardization, deliver scalable solutions, and support enterprise initiatives. The Senior Analyst serves as a strategic advisor, leading complex solution design, guiding cross-functional decision-making, and ensuring strong governance, data integrity, and compliance across the enterprise. There are two open positions. This role is designed with flexibility; technology and domain focus will be shaped to align with the candidate's modernization and transformation experience. The specific domain focus will be modeled to maximize impact based on prior experience and demonstrated strengths in the following areas: O2C (Order-to-Cash) P2P (Procure-to-Pay) R2R (Record-to-Report) Key Responsibilities Process Leadership & Strategy Serve as the senior functional SME for SAP processes within assigned domain Drive harmonization of global business processes Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and integration improvements Advise leadership on design decisions, roadmap planning, and industry best practices Solution Architecture & Delivery Lead end-to-end solution design for complex enhancements and integrations Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications Govern SAP configuration within functional process areas Partner with technical teams to guide development, testing, and deployment Produce high-quality documentation including process flows, SOPs, test scripts, and solution designs Operational Support & Continuous Improvement Provide Tier 3 support for high-impact system and process issues Perform root-cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions Support global process owners, SMEs, and super users Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business functions Project & Change Management Lead workstreams for SAP migration, upgrades, divestitures, and integration projects Facilitate workshops, solution demonstrations, and decision-making sessions Manage SIT/UAT testing cycles and defect resolution activities Develop training materials and communication plans supporting user adoption Governance, Data Quality & Compliance Strengthen governance and controls for master data management Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal control frameworks Promote documentation quality and process consistency across regions and systems Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field 7+ years of hands-on SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA experience Deep functional knowledge of SAP configuration within applicable process areas Strong understanding of integrations across SAP modules Demonstrated experience leading complex SAP projects and transformation initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities Ability to influence cross-functional teams and business decisions Preferred Qualifications Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotech, or other regulated industries Experience supporting digital transformation and modernization initiatives Knowledge of SOX compliance and governance controls Experience working in global enterprise environments Strong documentation, testing, and process optimization experience 10228637 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
