Accounting Coordinator (AIA Billing, AP/AR, Construction Accounting)

Our team is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join a collaborative and supportive accounting department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and billing, particularly within a construction or project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
Support and execute billing processes, including AIA billing
Handle documentation and compliance related to lien waivers
Assist with general accounting operations and financial recordkeeping
Collaborate closely with internal teams including payroll and accounting staff
Utilize accounting software/ERP systems to maintain accurate data
Qualifications
2-5 years of accounting experience, specifically in AP, AR, and billing
Experience in construction accounting or project-based accounting strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with:
AIA billing
Lien waivers
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
Compensation & Schedule
Salary range: $60,000-$70,000 (flexible based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Fully onsite role with some flexibility for start times
Occasional remote flexibility for appointments
