About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the firm, with a focus on maintaining accurate records, managing accounts, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You'll Do:
Support and manage assigned financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Process invoices, track payments, and maintain organized records for vendors and expenses
Reconcile accounts and assist with routine financial reporting
Collaborate closely with the accounting and operations team to keep accounts current and well-documented
Assist with general accounting tasks and support special projects as the role grows
What we are looking for:
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role is a plus; we are open to the right entry-level candidate who is eager to learn
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial recordkeeping
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Trustworthy and discreet; comfortable working with sensitive financial information
A team-first attitude and a genuine interest in being part of something people-driven
Bonus Points:
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Background in professional services or a similar office environment
An interest in process improvement and finding more efficient ways to get things done
Physical Requirements/Work Requirements & Environment
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
