Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk - Saraland, AL We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing team in Saraland. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. Pay Range: $17.00-$18.50/hour, depending on experience Responsibilities: Review invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Verify coding, approvals, charges, and payment terms Enter invoice and payment information into the company's financial system Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices and payments Work with vendors and team members to resolve invoice issues Maintain organized electronic records of invoices, receipts, reports, and checks Assist with routine accounting-related tasks and other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience required Strong computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Excel Experience with JD Edwards is preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently Strong communication and problem-solving skills Full-time, in-person, temp-to-perm opportunity.
