Position Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Staff/Senior Accountant to support the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate financial reporting, performing account analysis, and driving process improvements. This role is responsible for contributing to the monthly close process, financial reporting, and strengthening internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Perform financial analysis, identify trends/variances, and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and consolidate financial statements and management reports
Analyze complex accounts and provide detailed reconciliation support
Partner with Accounts Payable to monitor KPIs, workflows, and system performance
Provide technical guidance to staff accountants as needed
Assist with process improvement initiatives and internal controls
Support ad hoc reporting and special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of public accounting (assurance/audit) experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience with account reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis
Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
