QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a High School Graduate
Previous HR or payroll experience
Positive ability to work with the public, flexibility, and adaptability to a busy office environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent phone adequate
Accurate typing skills of 40wpm or better
Attention to detail
Ability to uphold policy
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as the primary contact and representative of the facility with perspective employees during the applicants interview and hiring process.
Contacting applicants and facilitating interviews
Processing of payroll for all employees including all related documents
Administer FMLA and LOA leaves
Complete investigations for employee related issues
Address employee relation concerns
Review personnel files for continued compliance with state and facility requirements
Ensure two-person interview process is followed
Complete all employment verifications and reference checks
Ensure and track employee evaluations are being completed (90 day and annually)
Processing paperwork relating to various employee welfare and benefit programs such as workers compensation, unemployment compensation, general assistance, child support bureau, and garnishments
Process and balance all HR and benefit related invoices.
Maintain and monitor staff Mantoux log
General typing and correspondence
Administer employee benefits
Review time edit and missed punch slips
Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff in a positive manner
Other duties as assigned by the administrator
