Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accounting Specialist for a well-established, construction supply company. This is an onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity based in Ontario, California.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Accounting Specialist will support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and comfortable working within a collaborative, blue-collar team setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking

Prepare and send invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances

Assist with contracts, vendor setup, and credit applications

Process payments and maintain accurate financial records

Support general administrative and accounting tasks as needed

Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting functions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience in construction or a related industry preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $25-$30, depending on experience, with the potential to convert to a full-time role.
