LHH is partnering with the corporate office of an aftermarket auto repair/maintenance company in search of an AR Accountant for their Cape Girardeau, MO location. In this job, you will be responsible for the typical AR and reconciliations activities and work on a team that is committed to their success. The culture is very positive and consists of a group of people who truly love what they do and work very well with one another. This is a direct hire job that pays between $50K - $52K and works onsite full time. Here are more details about this job:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash and bank reconciliations, review of cash payment transactions
Invoicing, balancing tasks, journal entries and general ledger activities
Filing sales and used taxes in six states, sales tax exemptions
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ Years of accounting experience preferably with an emphasis on AR
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
Able to work with large volumes of data, paper documents and manual processes
