Senior Accountant

Location: Hybrid (SLC Based) - 2 - 3 days in person Pay Range: $75-100K DOE and CPA licensure Nuvia Dental Implant Center is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. We provide dental implants and full mouth restorations to our patients in 24-hours, literally changing their lives. ROLE: The Senior Accountant serves a critical role on the Accounting team and will work closely with Staff Accountants and the Controller to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting. This individual will focus on proactively improving the financial reporting process in order to achieve a 5-day close cycle and will assist in positively training and developing more junior team members. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for preparing or reviewing various ledgers with NetSuite Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Controller's/CFO attention Assist in year-end financial audit by preparing and reviewing audit schedules and interacting with auditors Conduct month-end and year-end closures including the preparation/review of various account reconciliations Research and resolve various accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP Produce ad hoc reports and analyses as necessary REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA is a plus) 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience showing increasing responsibility Able to mentor more junior team members and assist in their development High sense of morals and ethics Critical thinker and self-starter, doesn't need to be micro-managed Able to adapt and change as the company grows and responsibilities grow with it Friendly and positive with a team-oriented attitude, keeping communication as a priority RESULTS: The Company is able to achieve a 5-day close with accurate financial records that are supported by detailed account reconciliations. Upper management is able to trust financial results and make strategic growth decisions using the information provided by accounting.
