Tax Manager

We are a local Midsize firm headquartered in West Palm Beach. We are about 50 employees total with 3 offices in Florida. WPB, Orlando, and Miami. We focus on high-end, HNW/UHNW clients with numerous pass-through entities. As a firm we focus on tax, accounting, valuation, and wealth management services. Many of our clients use us as a family office and come with a lot of high-complexity issues, especially in the gift, trust, and estate tax realm.We are looking for an experienced tax manager with strong experience in the fiduciary tax world and complex tax compliance background to be a client service focused manager. We can offer flex hours, strong financial growth path, limited busy seasons, and a collaborative group to work on complex tax matters.What you need7+ Years of Public AccountingActive CPA or JD/LLMStrong HNWI, Partnership, s-corp experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state fiduciary income tax, estate tax, and gift taxProficiency with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, or similar)Familiarity with estate planning strategies and wealth transfer techniquesExcellent communication and client service skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple engagements and deadlinesWhat you will be doingServe as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth individuals, families, and fiduciariesBuild and maintain trusted client relationshipsReview and prepare individual and pass-through returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120s, 990)Review and prepare complex trust, estate, and gift tax returns (Forms 1041, 706, 709)Advise clients on estate planning, charitable giving, and wealth transfer strategiesResearch and interpret tax laws and regulations related to trusts and estatesProvide guidance on tax implications of estate administration and fiduciary responsibilitiesSupervise and mentor junior staff and seniorsReview workpapers and ensure quality control across engagementsBenefitsBase Salary - $130,000-$180,000Full Medical, Dental, Vision401k with matchPTOAnnual BonusesLimited Busy Season HoursHigh-End ClienteleFlex HoursUnlimited Growth Potential (path to partner)
