Cash Accountant (Treasury)

Compensation: 80,000k+

Location: Dallas, TX (Uptown)

Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days in office/week)

Experience Level: 5+ years of cash accounting or treasury experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cash Accountant to support daily treasury and cash accounting operations in a complex, highvolume, multientity environment. This role focuses on managing cash activity, maintaining bank accounts, ensuring accurate cash application, and supporting reconciliations and reporting. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while partnering crossfunctionally to meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash activity within the Treasury Management System (TMS)
  • Reconcile daily cash files to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Apply bank deposits, wires, and receipts to internal contract and accounting systems
  • Open, close, and maintain a large volume of domestic and international bank accounts
  • Execute wire transfers and resolve banking issues
  • Prepare daily and periodic cash positioning reports
  • Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations and account analyses
  • Support monthend, quarterend, yearend, and special project deadlines
  • Assist with audit requests and documentation
  • Handle additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant cash accounting or treasury experience
  • Prior experience with a Treasury or Cash Management System (e.g., Kyriba preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
  • Advanced attention to detail with strong numeracy and accuracy
  • Strong reconciliation, research, and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized selfstarter able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes
