LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a manufacturing company in Hatfield, PA is seeking a detail?oriented Staff Accountant to support day?to?day accounting operations during a 3-4?month contract assignment. This role is fully onsite and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast?paced, hands?on environment. You'll work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records, support month?end close, and help ensure consistent accounting processes across the organization.
Staff Accountant (Contract - 3-4 Months)
Location: Hatfield, PA (Full Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with month?end and quarter?end close activities
- Prepare and analyze bank, inventory, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support AP/AR functions as needed
- Process accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset entries
- Assist with inventory accounting, cost allocations, and variance analysis (manufacturing environment)
- Review transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Generate ad?hoc reports and provide support for internal/external audits
- Collaborate with cross?functional teams including operations, finance, and supply chain
- Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month?end close processes
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently onsite in a structured environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
