Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Teterboro, NJ (100% On-Site)
Salary: $62,000 - $70,000; competitive benefits
About the Role:
LHH is working with a client in their search for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Teterboro, NJ. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes initiative in managing financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize accounting software to manage accounts receivable activities
Process high-volume cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile a high volume of bank accounts
Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies
Review and distribute monthly statements to clients
Monitor aging reports and assist with collections efforts
Enter new agreements with a high level of accuracy
Assist in resolving billing disputes
Review and post recurring charges
Prepare and enter journal entries as needed
Support 1096 and 1099 reporting
Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years accounts receivable experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive
Comfortable working in a fully on-site environment with a collaborative culture
