Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Teterboro, NJ (100% On-Site)

Salary: $62,000 - $70,000; competitive benefits

About the Role:

LHH is working with a client in their search for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Teterboro, NJ. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes initiative in managing financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize accounting software to manage accounts receivable activities

  • Process high-volume cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner

  • Reconcile a high volume of bank accounts

  • Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies

  • Review and distribute monthly statements to clients

  • Monitor aging reports and assist with collections efforts

  • Enter new agreements with a high level of accuracy

  • Assist in resolving billing disputes

  • Review and post recurring charges

  • Prepare and enter journal entries as needed

  • Support 1096 and 1099 reporting

  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years accounts receivable experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive

  • Comfortable working in a fully on-site environment with a collaborative culture
