About the Opportunity
LHH is working with a well-established and reputable manufacturing company in Moonachie, NJ in their search for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Credit Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is confident managing the full AR cycle and making informed credit decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and collections
Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past due accounts
Evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits
Review and release orders based on credit status
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve account concerns
Prepare AR and credit reports for management
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or credit analysis
Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment strongly preferred
Strong understanding of credit policies and risk assessment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
