About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Senior Tax Manager for a 9-month contract.

About the Opportunity
  • Support tax planning, M&A due diligence, acquisition integration, and cross-border structuring activities.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and business teams to provide technical tax guidance and operational support.
  • Manage Canadian tax compliance including corporate income tax, GST/HST, transfer pricing, withholding tax, employment tax, and pension tax filings.
  • Lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes, reporting disclosures, and uncertain tax positions under IFRS.
  • Coordinate tax audits and disputes with tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and tax technology adoption to improve efficiency and data integrity.
  • Supervise and mentor staff and external advisors while managing multiple deadlines and deliverables.

About You
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting designation required.
  • 7+ years of progressive corporate tax experience in a multinational environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong expertise in Canadian tax, transfer pricing, cross-border structuring, employment tax, and pension tax.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and tax accounting principles
