Senior Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant A growing organization in the Beaverton area is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for analyzing product costs, maintaining inventory and standard costing, and providing financial insights to support operational decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive profitability. Salary: $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience Benefits & Perks: Hybrid work schedule Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to join a collaborative and growing organization Key Responsibilities: Maintain and analyze standard costs, including labor, material, and overhead components Perform inventory analysis and reconcile inventory-related accounts Prepare cost variance analyses and provide recommendations to management Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve costing accuracy and reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of inventory accounting and standard costing Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills CPA or CMA designation is a plus Location: Beaverton, Oregon (hybrid schedule) Timing is everything.
