Senior Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is not just a data-entry role; we are looking for a professional who can operate multiple sets of books from "after-the-fact" reconciliation to active day-to-day management, culminating in tax-ready financials. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage books for multiple entities from initial transaction entry through month-end and year-end close. Daily Operations: Oversee Accounts Payable (bill pay), Accounts Receivable (invoicing), and cash flow management. Tax Preparation & Prep: Organize and prepare comprehensive financial packages for business tax returns to be reviewed by the firm's CPAs. Consulting & Review: Perform regular financial reviews and provide insights/consulting to clients regarding their fiscal health. Reconciliations: Handle complex "after-the-fact" reconciliations and adjusting journal entries. Assistance with payroll processing and filings Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or staff accounting experience (preferably in a multi-client firm environment). Tax Knowledge: Proven ability to bring a set of books to a "tax-ready" state; familiarity with business tax forms is a major plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
