We are a local full service CPA with several locations in CT and looking for an Experienced Tax Manager/ Sr Tax Manager to help grow our Stamford office.We are here to help make our clients lives a little easier and we are looking for candidates who share our mission to serve our clients!What You Will Be DoingOversee the client experience including deadline management and client expectationscalculate tax effects of transactions, conduct technical tax research and manager tax partner expectationshandle billing/wip managementreview returns and manage tax workflowcoordinate multiple team engagements, deadlines and schedulesHelp develop Senior and Staff accountants both technically and professionallybuild strong relationships and interact regularly with clientsResponsible for strategy and growth of the firm's tax services, including identifying market trends, anticipating opportunities, and developing go-to-market strategies/plansServe and build relationships with clients, monitoring client service and value proposition, acting as trusted advisor to ensure we are a premium providerWhat You Need for this PositionAt least 10 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxationIdeally already in the senior manager position, but experienced Tax Managers are encouraged to applyExperienced with both Individual and Business taxHNWI experience is REQUIREDOther Gift/Trust/Estate experience is a PLUSProven experience managing teams/engagementsExperience with business development is a HUGE PLUSCPA licenseM.S. in Taxation is preferredWhat's In It for YouCompetitive base pay ($140k- $170k) DOEPartner Track4+ Weeks PTOAnnual Bonus401k with 4% matchand more
