Adecco is partnering with a great client in Plymouth MN to hire a Payroll Manager for this exciting contract to hire opportunity!
Pay: $25-$35/hr can go higher for the right candidate!
Shift M-F 8am-5pm. (Possible Hybrid
6 month Contract to hire!
Position Overview:
The Payroll Manager will oversee all aspects of payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy,pliance, and timely filings. This role requires strong knowledge of payroll regulations, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients
Review and approve payroll reports, tax filings, and payments
Ensurepliance with federal and state payroll regulations (including filings with the Internal Revenue Service)
Prepare and/or review quarterly and annual payroll tax filings (Forms 941, state returns, W-2s, etc.)
Supervise and train payroll staff
Resolve client payroll issues and respond to inquiries
Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy
Work with payroll systems such as Apex HR Payroll, ADP Workforce Now, or similar platforms
Stay up to date with payroll laws andpliance changes
Understand the tax calculations on form 941/940
Identify federal and state deposit frequency schedule
Submit and E-file 941/940 in
Tax deposits in Eftps/batch software.
Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll experience (management experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations andpliance
Experience handling multi-state payroll is a plus
Proficiency in payroll software and Excel
Strong attention to detail andanizational skills
Excellentmunication and client service skills
Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
