Title: Accountant Location: Portland Pay: $70,000-82,000 depending on experience a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Position Summary We are seeking a full-time accountant to support the bookkeeping and accounting needs of multiple locations within the Portland metro area. This role involves on-site work, local travel, and some hybrid schedule flexibility. Key Responsibilities Handle weekly, monthly, and quarterly bookkeeping for multiple locations Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis Prepare monthly financial statements Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and fixed asset tracking Prepare 1099s and coordinate W-2 corrections Support internal controls and light HR duties, including benefits and personnel files Qualifications 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Degree in accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in QuickBooks and payroll processing Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently Timing is everything.
