Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Farmington, Utah (On-site/Hybrid) Position Overview Alpha Video Surveillance is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for its portfolio company, Premier Security Solutions. This role will work closely with the accounting team and cross-functional partners to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general bookkeeping functions. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable (AP) , including invoice entry, vendor setup, and payment processing Support Accounts Receivable (AR) , including invoicing, cash application, and customer account follow-up Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with general ledger entries and basic journal entries Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation Support month-end close activities Assist with expense reports and reimbursement processing Work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and answer basic accounting questions Support audits and special projects as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress) 0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, reconciliations) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Prior experience in AR/Collections and bookkeeping Experience working in a fast paced, growing organization Desire to learn, improve processes, and take on increasing responsibility What We Offer Hands-on exposure to core accounting functions Opportunity for growth and development within the accounting team Competitive compensation based on experience Benefits package (medical, PTO, etc.)
