This role manages daily accounting functions, supervises staff, and ensures accurate financial records and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and guide the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance reviews Support budgeting activities and analyze monthly financial results against forecasts Monitor spending effectiveness, including sales and marketing costs Oversee month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Manage accounts payable, payroll processing, and inventory adjustments Maintain financial records and develop internal reports for decision-making Ensure compliance with tax requirements and regulatory filings Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows Promote safe and compliant workplace practices Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles Prior experience leading or supervising a team Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Work Environment: Office-based role with occasional interaction in operational areas Team Oversight: Direct supervision of accounting staff members and coordination of departmental activities
