- Work Mode: Onsite
- Complete complex accounting analysis independently, applying accounting theory.
- Prepare and analyze monthly estimated contractual adjustments, charity, and bad debt.
- Prepare and file Medicare and Medicaid annual cost reports and settlements.
- Maintain annual budgets and prepare Federal/State and Local tax returns.
- Report to the state COPN Regulatory Authority and perform cost analysis.
- Interpret and communicate federal and state regulations, managing priorities and deadlines.
- Assess the theoretical integrity of accounting functions and recommend improvements.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory and taxing agencies, external consultants, auditors, and company leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance/Business with a concentration in Accounting (21 credits in Accounting required).
- 1 year of accounting experience with analysis, budget, and financial statements.
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in healthcare accounting/finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Excellent Excel skills, including heavy use of pivot tables and advanced formulas.
