Payroll Specialist

Our Client is seeking a REMOTE Payroll Specialist for a 3+ month contract position (possible extension/conversion). Please see the requirements below: ***While this role is remote, the candidate MUST be located in NJ*** Pay: $21-$23/hr DOE Hours: M-F 9am-6pm ET Responsibilities: Completes full cycle payroll processing Responds to employee payroll questions in an efficient manner Prepares payroll journal entries Reviews of the quarterly payroll tax reports Year-end processing W-2 and 1099 Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required. 0-2 years experience required. Experience in payroll processing Professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information Demonstrated attention to detail Familiarity with payroll systems Experience utilizing workday The PrideStaff Field Associate Benefit Plan includes: Medical Insurance,Dental Plan,Vision Plan, New Benefits - Teladoc, Mental Health, Alternative Medicine, etc. and 401K plan* Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
