Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking an experienced CPA to join our firm. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong background in tax and financial statement preparation. This role is primarily focused on quality control, including reviewing work prepared by staff accountants such as tax returns, financial statements, payroll, and related client projects. Responsibilities: Review individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns for accuracy and compliance Review financial statements and accounting workpapers Review payroll filings and related reports Identify issues, provide clear review notes, and recommend corrections Assist with technical questions and guidance for staff Ensure work meets firm standards and deadlines Qualifications: 5+ years of public accounting experience Strong tax and accounting technical knowledge Experience reviewing staff-prepared work CPA preferred (or CPA-eligible) Proficient with common tax and accounting software (Quickbooks, Lacerte, Sage 50, etc.) Company DescriptionPace Duff & Company, P.C. is a CPA firm in Rincon, GA providing practical tax and accounting services, with a focus on thorough, accurate work done right the first time.
