Position Summary
This position is actively involved in the financial operation and success of an operation by providing financial planning, decision support, management updates, managerial & financial reporting and maintain internal controls.Duties and Responsibilities
Monitoring automatic financial entriesPreparing and posting auxiliary entries to ensure the correct recording of financial transactions within the period in accordance with relevant accounting guidelines including, but not limited to US GAAPAssisting with Annual Budgets and monthly forecastsWorking with the Sr. Finance Analyst and Managers to ensure all financial transactions meet audit requirementsPreparing reports and schedules for external and internal auditors as neededPresenting Monthly Financial and Operational reportsPreparing additional financial information as required to support the operation and decision analysisOther duties as assigned
Other Duties and Responsibilities
The position may require overseeing the work of other accountants and analysts and providing guidance and leadership to other areas of the business.Working with Financial leadership team to develop a financial plan for the operation which contributes to the overall financial goals of the organization
Qualifications
Post Secondary Education in Accounting or Business ManagementStrong written and verbal communication skillsRelevant experience in report preparation for various business-minded stakeholdersAdvanced skills using Microsoft ExcelAnalytical with a strong sense of both process and presentationAbility to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements

Typical Physical DemandsRequires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires constant data input for extended periods of time without leaving the work area. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
