This position completes and reconciles all aspects of cash management along with overseeing the cashiering, accounts payable, and payroll functions of the business office.

Essential Functions
- Reconcile bank and investment accounts
- Prepare and process student payroll through ADP system
- Oversee and assist with faculty/staff payroll through ADP system
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Prepare and process student monthly payment plans
- Reconcile and pay sales tax for Bethel College and affiliates
- Post daily online gifts, wires, and ACH transactions
- Reconciliation and manage UAS student loan account activity
- Assist controller in preparation for annual audit
- Prepare and file annual tax forms including W-2, 1099's, 1098Ts, 1095Cs, etc.
- Assist with Student Billing inquiries and processing
- Review accounts payable and cashier activities: serving as backup as needed
- Utilize and setup online payment portals (Square, Paypal, Stripe, Hudl, etc.)

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years experience in accounting
- Preferred experience with banking, reconciliation and payroll in a non-profit environment

- Extremely detail oriented: ensuring that financial activities are accurate, complete, and compliant with organization and GAAP standards
- Proven time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, systems, and technology platforms
