Job Description
230 Day contract, 8 hours per day. Prefer a person that is familiar with MUNIS Accounting System. Plan, organize, supervise and participate in financial and statistical record-keeping activities for an assigned accounting functional area; train, supervise and evaluate assigned personnel. Operate a variety of office equipment such as a computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Have a knowledge of Accounting, budgeting and auditing principles, practices and procedures. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. Ability to balance accounts and reconcile bank statements. Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies, procedures and governmental regulations. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationship with others. Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. Meet schedules and time lines. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Plan and organize work. Coordinate and monitor clerical accounting assignments and activities.
