A growing services firm is seeking a Controller to lead core accounting functions and oversee financial performance across projects. This role drives accurate reporting, system optimization, and visibility into profitability while supporting ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead close processes, financial reporting, and GAAP adherence
Oversee project accounting, including revenue recognition, WIP, and margin analysis
Manage financial systems and reporting to support project-level insights
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
Supervise billing, AR/AP, and cash flow activities
Maintain strong internal controls and support audit processes
Assist with system integration efforts tied to growth initiatives
Develop and guide accounting team members

Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
Experience in project-based or professional services environments
Familiarity with ERP systems; Deltek experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of revenue recognition and project financial metrics
Strong analytical and Excel skills
