Title: Assistant Accounting Office Manager
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually (based on experience)
Location: South Denver | On-site, Monday-Friday
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accounting Office Manager to support both financial operations and daily office functions. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with team and office coordination. There is strong potential for growth into a more senior leadership position over time
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
Maintain accurate financial records, including data entry and reconciliations
Assist with journal entries and general ledger updates
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
Process vendor payments and oversee recurring billing cycles
Track deposits and support banking activity reporting
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation
Support tax filings and compliance-related reporting
Compile materials for audits and financial reviews
Accounting Oversight
Partner with auditors and tax professionals to meet reporting deadlines
Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
Assist in audit processes and ensure proper documentation
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
Office & Operations Management
Support day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
Manage invoicing workflows, cash handling, and recordkeeping
Help improve internal processes and team efficiency
Support departmental workflow and productivity goals
Take on increasing responsibility in office leadership and coordination
Qualifications:
Background in accounting, finance, or business operations preferred
Experience with bookkeeping and financial processes
Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
Interest in growing into a leadership role
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
