Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Recruitment is partnering with a Chandler based company who is in search of a full time AP Specialist to join their finance team. This is a fully onsite position supporting a fast-paced accounting department with high-volume invoice processing and vendor management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong AP experience, excellent accuracy, and experience working in JD Edwards. The hourly rate is between $25/hr-$27/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
  • Review invoices for proper approvals and coding
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to payment inquiries
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances
  • Assist with month-end close and AP reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience with JD Edwards strongly preferred
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
