Company DescriptionController (ERP / Manufacturing - Cosmetics OEM / ODM)Location: North Burbank, CAFull-timeSalary: $150K-180K DOE Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Controller with strong ERP experience to lead all accounting and financial operations for a cosmetics OEM/ODM manufacturing company. This role will focus heavily on cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting within an ERP-driven environment.The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background and is experienced in leveraging ERP systems to improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy. Job Description Oversee all accounting functions including GL, AR/AP, payroll, and financial reportingManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes within ERP systemsEnsure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAPLead cost accounting processes including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuationMaintain and optimize ERP system usage for accounting, inventory, and reporting functionsPartner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to ensure accurate cost trackingAnalyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overheadDevelop budgets, forecasts, and financial modelsStrengthen internal controls and support auditsImprove reporting processes and automate workflows using ERP capabilitiesSupport pricing strategies with accurate cost dataQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA preferred10+ years of accounting experience, with strong manufacturing backgroundHands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reportingExperience with GAAP and audit processesAdvanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilityStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience in cosmetics, personal care, or OEM/ODM manufacturingExperience with system implementations or ERP optimizationExposure to multi-entity or multi-location environmentsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
