Overview We are seeking a high?volume Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's growing accounting team in Vero Beach. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has extensive experience processing large volumes of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. The position starts as temporary with strong potential to convert to permanent. Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing & AP Workflow Process high-volume AP invoices (PO and non-PO) with accuracy Match, verify, and code invoices to the correct GL accounts Assist with 3-way matching and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams Enter invoices into the ERP system and ensure timely approval routing Prepare AP batches and support weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations Vendor Management Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and ensure correct setup in the system Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice/payment issues promptly Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices are accounted for Reconciliation & Reporting Assist with month-end close related to AP Reconcile AP aging and research unapplied or outstanding items Support accruals and prepare AP-related reports as needed Administrative & Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to improve AP accuracy Assist with process improvements and system efficiencies Provide backup support to the accounting team during peak periods Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour Search managed by: Nikki Caudill Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
