Position Summary The Audit Specialist is responsible for continuous quality assurance and compliance oversight throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects. This role performs daily ongoing audits, postjob audits, enforces active company policies, and ensures project files are complete, accurate, compliant, and defensible for billing, insurance claims, and customer dispute resolution. The Audit Specialist acts as an independent quality gate, identifying risks early, preventing revenue loss, and ensuring documentation integrity. Key Responsibilities Perform daily audits of active jobs to ensure documentation, photos, scope, and to do items are complete and compliant. Validate and manage to do item completion, reopening items when requirements are not met. Conduct post job audits to confirm files are complete, approved, and defensible for billing and insurance claims. Enforce active company policies and documentation standards consistently. Review insurance files for claim readiness and compliance, identifying risks that may delay or deny payment. Support customer complaint and dispute reviews through objective file audits. Approve or reject job readiness based on audit findings and return deficiencies to Project Manager. Document audit findings, risks, and trends impacting revenue or compliance based off of current policies, programs, and SOPs. Generating reports to identify opportunities through an internal process. The above represents the primary responsibilities of this position. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work a rotating schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays 2-4 years of experience with property insurance is a plus Knowledge in Verisk Xactimate and CoreLogic estimating software a plus Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint). Skills and Competencies Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to evaluate files objectively, independently, and without bias opinion Able to deliver findings effectively and precisely to uncover the root cause.
