LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nonprofit client in Oklahoma City, OK to fill a Controller position. This is an onsite role.
The Controller oversees all accounting operations and financial reporting for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls while supporting leadership with budgeting, audits, and strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and cash management
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with nonprofit GAAP
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Manage annual audit and ensure regulatory, nonprofit, and grant compliance
Maintain internal controls and improve financial processes
Supervise accounting staff and collaborate with executive leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience; nonprofit experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of nonprofit/fund accounting and financial reporting
Audit and grant compliance experience
CPA preferred
