Payroll Clerk / Payroll Specialist - Automotive Dealership Location: Barrington, IL Murgado Automotive Group, a leading automotive dealership group , is hiring an experienced Payroll Clerk / Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across multiple dealership locations. This role is ideal for a detailoriented payroll professional with strong compliance knowledge and dealership or multientity payroll experience. Key Responsibilities Process weekly and biweekly payroll accurately and on time Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws Maintain payroll records, employee files, and audit documentation Resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies Review and validate timecards and timekeeping data Partner with HR and Accounting on payroll reporting and reconciliation Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (Associate's degree in Accounting preferred) 5+ years of payroll processing experience (automotive or multilocation payroll preferred) Working knowledge of payroll systems; Paycom experience a plus Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Solid understanding of payroll tax and wage regulations Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Career advancement opportunities within a familyowned automotive group Apply Today Join Murgado Automotive Group and grow your payroll career with a stable, respected dealership organization. \n \n $55,000 - $70,000 a year \n Murgado Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
